Curiousity Society

Branding an anti-consultancy

Curiosity Society believe changing systems is the key to create a more equitable world, and that you need to partner with others to achieve the impact needed. Working in the fields of housing, ethical finance, and youth inclusion amongst others, they collaborate with learning partners to change how people think. Relaunching the organisation as a Community Benefits Society in 2020, the trust and knowledge built over many years working with Curiosity Society gave us a strong foundation from which to support their metamorphosis journey.

Through collaborative workshops with the team, we started by building the brand foundations through competitor and audience analysis and defining their mission, vision and values, before re-naming and creating a logo and visual identity to bring everything together. In our application of the styling across the range of materials, such as online workshop tools and a new website, we prioritised the flow of information and content to give structure, and used visuals and animation to support complex concepts.

“Lindsay and the team at Noble Studio have been extraordinarily creative, ferociously organised, and unfailingly patient with us whilst we’ve worked together on a new visual identity and a website to match. It isn’t easy to understand the personality of a social enterprise like The Curiosity Society, but Noble Studio made it seem easy and turned it into a visual language that says who we are. This is the kind of insight that is rare, and worth holding on to when you find it. We won’t be going anywhere else.”
